How to clean your SmartMax toys.

Pre-schoolers love playing with their toys! And putting them in their mouths. And dropping them on the floor. They don’t really care whether the toys fell in a sand box, if the dog picked them up or if a little friend sneezed on it. Unfortunately, us parents do. Here are some tips and tricks in case you want to know how to clean your kid’s favourite magnetic toys!

How often should you clean toys?

Toys for young children need the most frequent cleaning-attention, since our mini-Me’s tend to drop toys on the ground and put them in their little mouths. Baby toys are recommended to be cleaned every 1 to 2 days. If your little one is a bit older, you can clean their toys on a weekly base.

How to clean your SmartMax toys?

Time to get to work! To clean your SmartMax toys, take a clean cloth or paper towel and dip it in soapy water. You can also just use Lysol or baby wipes instead. Liquid hand soap or castile soap will all do the trick. Wring out your cloth and make sure it is damp (not wet). Wipe off the SmartMax parts with the cloth. Once done, take a fresh cloth, put under water, and go over the toys again to remove the soap residue. Leave the toys to airdry before storing them away. Don’t put your SmartMax toys in the dishwasher or in a bucket of water. Using too much water for cleaning these toys is not recommended.
